Arrive & Ground
As everyone arrives, we take time to settle in, get comfortable, and begin connecting with those around us. The journey starts here.
Day 1 is all about arriving, settling in, and easing into retreat mode. This first day is meant for meeting the group, getting familiar with the space, and giving yourself time to land—physically and mentally. Ideally, everyone arrives with enough time to unpack, explore the property a bit, and unwind before we all come together for our welcome dinner. There are no scheduled activities on this day on purpose, so you can rest, reset, and get ready for the nourishing movement and experiences we have planned for the days ahead
Day Two
Root & Restore
Day 2 gently invites everyone deeper into the retreat experience. The morning begins with Pilates with Joy, a grounding classical mat Pilates practice to wake up the body and connect with your breath. Later, you’ll join an in-house herbalist for a Herbal Wellness session—a guided walk to explore the medicinal plants they cultivate on the land. You’ll harvest fresh herbs together and prepare simple, flavorful infusions while learning practical ways to weave herbal support into everyday life. In the afternoon, we’ll head to the river’s edge for volcano mud bathing, smoothing warm, mineral-rich mud over the skin and rinsing off in the water—an earthy, playful ritual for both body and spirit. As the day winds down, we’ll move into the thermal river for a guided meditation, letting the warm, soothing waters hold you while you soften, release, and tune into the quiet rhythm of nature.
Day Three
Energize & Explore
Day 3 is about movement, play, and a little bit of magic. We’ll start with the Carbonatadas Hike, a gentle walk along an easy, flat trail that leads to a naturally carbonated mineral spring, historically praised for its healing properties—a relaxing outing that’s accessible for all fitness levels. Later, we’ll turn up the energy with Pilates with Joy, a dynamic session blending high-intensity interval training, yoga-inspired flows, and mat Pilates to build strength, stamina, and a joyful sweat. As night falls, the forest becomes our classroom for a Night Walk + Zip Line experience. With flashlight in hand, you’ll follow an expert guide along the trails to observe nocturnal insects, amphibians, and the shifting sounds of the reserve after dark, with chances to spot forest fruits, seeds, and a stunning blanket of stars overhead. We’ll close the evening with an unforgettable ride on two zipline cables, gliding quietly over the treetops under the night sky.
Day Four
Rise & Reflect
Day 4 is our final day to soak it all in. We’ll rise early for a Volcano Sunrise Hike, a moderate 2 km roundtrip walk to the viewpoint where the sky slowly opens over the landscape. Once we arrive, you’ll be guided through a gentle yoga practice in this magical setting, moving and breathing as the sun comes up. Later, you’ll have the option to join Pilates with Joy for one more playful, energizing session—or simply enjoy your last day however your heart needs it. You’re welcome to stay on property and relax, or head out to explore beyond the resort (if you choose to go off-site, transportation will be on your own). This day is about savoring, integrating, and saying a soft goodbye to this experience.
Day Five
Hold & Let Go
Day 5 is our gentle goodbye. It’s time to wrap up bags, share a few last hugs, and say see-you-later to the people you’ve met, bonded with, and walked alongside on this journey. As we part ways, the hope is that you’re leaving not just with photos and memories, but with a deeper connection to yourself—your body, your breath, your heart. May you carry home the calm, the strength, and the joy you found here, and remember that this retreat is not an ending, but a beginning you get to keep choosing every day.
